GRAND-PRIZE-PURCHASE-DEADLINE
A modern masterpiece by famed architect Pierre Koenig – and $2,000,000 – is just a $150 raffle ticket away for the lucky winner of the 2016 Palos Verdes Dream House Raffle. The first and oldest house raffle in California, proceeds help fund the Palos Verdes Art Center’s exhibition, educational, and outreach programs making the visual arts available, accessible and affordable.
Pierre Koenig was one of the California architects responsible for re-imagining the suburban home to reflect the casual Southern California lifestyle. The Henbest House in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA was built in 1966, and is an exemplar of mid-century modern design. Remodeled and expanded by Robert Sweet in 2011, the home features post-and-beam design, open-space floor plan, floor-to-ceiling glass, hardwood wall treatments, fountain entry, kitchen with island and breakfast bar, dining room, living room, den, home office, wall fireplace, patios, pool, spa, attached two car garage and ocean views.
